How effectively are you using this direct, free means of communication to reach out to your library’s patrons and users? Digital branch and social networking innovator David Lee King will share what he’s learned from years of experience and experiments with the Topeka and Shawnee County’s Facebook page. He will answer your questions and share time-saving tips on getting the most out of using Facebook.

About the Instructor

David Lee King is the Digital Branch and Services Manager at the Topeka and Shawnee County (Kansas) Public Library, where he plans, implements, and experiments with emerging technology trends. He speaks internationally and writes about emerging trends, website usability and management, digital experience planning, and managing tech staff. David was named a Library Journal "Mover and Shaker" for 2008 and recently published his first book, Designing the Digital Experience. David writes the “Internet Spotlight” column in Public Libraries magazine with Michael Porter and blogs.
